James Purcell’s practice centers around real estate, homeowners associations, debt collection, contract drafting and civil litigation.
James received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and his juris doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. While in law school, James served as managing editor of the Journal of Technology, Law and Policy and judicial intern for Judge D. Michael Fisher of the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals. After law school, James clerked for Judge David N. Mortensen of the Fourth District Court of Utah.
In his spare time, James enjoys golfing, hiking, playing piano and spending time with his wife, son and twin girls. James is conversationally fluent in Spanish.
