Randall graduated cum laude from BYU law school in 1996 where he served on the Editorial Board of the Law Review and was Student Bar Association President; he also and holds a masters degree in Public Policy. He clerked for Hon. Michael R. Murphy on the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
Over the course of his 22 years of practice, Randall has tried over fifty cases, including twenty jury trials. He has argued appellate cases before the Utah Supreme Court, the Utah Court of Appeals, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. His published appellate cases include: State v. Moreno, 2009 UT 15; 203 P.3d 1000 (Utah 2009); State v. Mullins, 2005 UT 43; 116 P.3d 374 (Utah 2005); Cedar Surgery Ctr. L.L.C. v. Bonelli, 2004 UT 58, 96 P.3d 911 (Utah 2004); and United States v. Holbert, 285 F.3d 257 (10th Cir. 2002).
Randall is a Rotarian and a Paul Harris Fellow.
